WWE RAW Results (5/18/26): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show opens with a video package recapping what happened last week with Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu.

Michael Cole and Corey Graves then welcomed us to the show, and we saw a black SUV roll into the arena and Roman Reigns make an appearance. The World Heavyweight Title was then handed to Roman Reigns, and Adam Pearce said last week that Jacob Fatu would have been fired if OTC had listened to him. Roman Reigns then says he’s on the phone and needs a few minutes. Roman then said that he needed to take care of his own business first. Pierce then says that Jacob should be fired.

Jacob Fatu’s music then plays and Roman and Pierce look on in disbelief as Fatu walks out. Fatu says Roman wanted to call him. Fatu then says he’s telling Roman to bring out his punk a**. Roman wasn’t ejected, but instead ejected Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso with chairs. Jimmy wants to talk first and Jay wants to use the chair. He then said he wanted to know what was going on. And he says you sat here and told everyone that you were going to do everything you could to help the family. And part of that, he says, was recognizing Roman. And he says you should have conceded to Roman because you lost at Backlash.

Then he told me not to mess with the management. Then he said he wants to fire your a**. Then he said, are we going back to prison? Jay then sneaks around Jimmy, but Fatu punches him and pins Jimmy in a Tonga death grip. Jay then hits Fatu in the back with a chair. Fatu then puts Jay in the Tonga Death Grip.

Roman’s music then plays and he walks outside. Roman then throws the first punch as Fatu holds out his fingers for a Tonga death grip. After that, it goes back and forth and Roman kicks Fatu. Roman then goes for a Superman Punch and Fatu applies a Tonga Death Grip on Roman. Jay then hits a superkick and a second kick followed by a spear to force Fatu to break the hold. Jimmy then hits a frog splash. They then hit a 1D on Fatu. Fatu is then tied to a rope by Jimmy and Jay. Roman then delivers a superman punch to Fatu. Jimmy and Jay then hit a double superkick.

Roman then hits Superman’s punch again. Jimmy and Jey then hit a double superkick and get Fatu off the ropes so Roman can hit the Spear. Roman, Jimmy, and Jey then walked up the aisle to find Pierce standing there. Roman tells Pierce to do what he wants. Pearce then says Fatu’s name, and Fatu picks up the microphone and talks about Roman Tribal Combat. Pierce then tells Roman something and Roman stops Pierce from talking. Roman then tells Fatu that he accepts.

We then see the pre-show arrivals of Seth Rollins, Oba Femi, and The Judgment Day.

We then meet Finn Balor, who says that when he needed someone to have his back, it was JD. And then he announces the moment of truth. Then JD says people started asking Finn how he could do that. Then JD said that Finn had changed a lot. And JD says he plans to step out of Finn’s shadow. Finn then said that he got JD into trouble and was going to eliminate him now.

Finn Balor then makes his way down to the ring for the first match of the night, followed by JD McDonagh.

Street fight: Finn Balor vs. JD McDonagh from Judgment Day

The match begins with JD McDonough defeating Finn Balor. Finn then sends JD over the top rope to the floor. The battle then spills outward. Finn then sends JD into the barricade and steel steps. Finn is now looking for a weapon. Finn then targets JD with a steel chair. Then JD counterattacks using a kendo stick. Finn fights back with a kendo stick, but JD slams him in the head. JD is then sent face-first into a steel chair. JD then makes a suicide dive. The fight then spills out into the crowd. Finn then sends JD into the equipment case. JD then sends Finn into the same equipment case. JD then hits a moonsault to wipe out Finn.

JD then drags Finn to the ringside area. JD then slams Finn’s face into the announce desk. JD then vacates the announce desk. Finn then sweeps JD off his feet and nails JD with a kendo stick. JD then wraps the cable around Finn’s leg, causing Finn to land on the apron on the back of his neck. JD then introduces a table in the corner. Finn then tries to fight back, but he drops JD on his head. Finn then slammed a chair into JD’s midsection and spine. JD then puts Finn on a chair and hits a standing moonsault for a near fall.

Finn then hits JD with a sling blade. Finn then sends JD through the table. Finn then goes to the top rope but misses the Coup de Grace. JD then hits an ugly knee and top rope moonsault for a near fall. JD then drags another table. JD then puts Finn on the table. JD then goes to the top rope but Finn trips him. Finn then slams JD away. Dominik then went up to the apron and JD hit a superplex that knocked them both down. JD then ducks into cover, but Finn raises his shoulder. Dominic and J.D. then launch a two-on-one attack on Finn using a trash can. Then Dominic accidentally hits 619 on JD. Finn then hits a dropkick on JD. Finn then went to the top rope and hit the Coup de Grace on the trash can for the win.

Next, we look back at the six-man tag team match in which The Street Profits and Joe Hendry faced off against The Vision, with Seth Rollins attempting to participate.

Then we see Kathy Kelly and Seth Rollins. Kathy asks Seth what happened last week and whether they should continue this if it causes friction. Seth says he knows a few things. Then Seth says he’s a marked man. Then Seth says he has no allies. Seth then says he knows he has to end Vision sooner or later. Then Seth said he was racking his brain about the best way to do it. Then Seth says the easiest way is to just run straight through. Seth then says he hasn’t had a match on RAW in about nine months. Then Seth said he needed to change that tonight.

Seth then entered tonight’s main event and said he could challenge any member of The Vision. And Seth says he’ll fight any of them. Then Seth says he wants to meet a man who thinks he’s ready but won’t try. Then, Seth tells the man that he can defeat him by himself, but he says he can’t. Then Seth said, Bron Breaker, who are you? Then Seth says you’re a Nepobaby who can’t hack. Then Seth said, are you an athlete who ends up being a bundle of wasted potential? Then Seth says you are who you say you are. Seth then says show me who you are.

We then see Byron Saxton standing backstage with Sol Luca. Sol talks about his chances on RAW. Sol then admitted that he hadn’t won yet, but was able to let the locker room know. Then Becky Lynch walked up to her and said she hadn’t had the best of circumstances. Becky then says that she thinks Sol has bitten off more than she can chew. Becky then asks Sol to return to NXT. Then Sol said he would go. Becky then says that this generation gives up too easily.

Sol’s music is then heard and Sol descends into the ring while Becky and Byron are confused. Sol quickly follows and calls for Becky, who then descends into the ring. Becky says she wants to know what kind of stunt Sol is pulling here. Then Sol says that he’s trying too hard to give up. Sol then says that he’s good at proving people wrong. Sol then wants to show this off in the ring and Becky turns her down. Becky then claims herself to be the greatest female wrestler of all time. The WWE Universe then erupts into a chorus of boos. And Becky said she takes pride in being a leader in the locker room and a mentor to today’s youth. Becky then talks about the list of victims and says that she forced AJ Lee to quit the company.

Becky then says she will face Sol in Saturday Night’s main event. Then Becky says she’s not a star maker, she’s a star breaker. Sol then promises to steal Becky’s soul and the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Becky then says this is not a title match. Then Becky says you didn’t do anything to get a title match. Then Becky says you didn’t cheat on her like everyone else.

The Vision is then seen backstage and they are talking about The Street Profits and Saturday Night’s Main Event. Bron Breaker asks Paul Heyman if he heard Seth Rollins. Bron tells Heyman to make it official. Heyman then picks Seth Rollins against Austin Theory. Bron wants to talk to Heyman alone. Bron asks Heyman, “What are you doing?” Heyman then says that he wants Bron to run the play.

The original El Grande Americano and Los Hermanos Americano then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night, followed by El Grande Americano and Los Americano.

Trio Tornado Tag Match: El Grande Americano and Los Americano (Bravo Americano and Rayo Americano) vs. Original Grande Americano and Los Hermanos Americano (Brito Credo and Julio Credo)

The match begins with Rayo hitting Julio with a series of chops. Brute then joins the fray and helps Julio hit a fallaway slam on Rajo. Bravo then hits a big right. El Grande Americano then comes face to face with the original El Grande Americano. Original El Grande Americano goes for an ankle lock, but Bravo and Rayo ambush him from behind. The original El Grande Americano hits the chops. Bravo then hits a hurricanrana on Brute. Julio then jumps over the top rope and annihilates everyone. Next, El Grande Americano performs a suicide dive. Then the original El Grande Americano hits a moonsault.

The original El Grande Americano then hits a superplex on Bravo for a near fall. The battle then spills outward. Bravo then sends Julio into the iron stairs. El Grande Americano then attacks Bluto. Inside the ring, Julio picks Rayo up and drops him for a near fall. Both men are on the top rope. Rayo then hits a sunset flip powerbomb on Julio, but Brute breaks things up. Bravo then joins the fray and fights Brute. Brute then sends Bravo face-first into the canvas for a near fall. El Grande Americano then hits Brute with a running uppercut. The Original El Grande Americano returns to the ring and Los Americanos begin a 3-on-1 attack on the Original El Grande Americano.

The original El Grande Americano hits a double clothesline. He then throws his opponent across the ring. Then the original El Grande Americano hits a double suplex. He then sends El Grande Americano into the turnbuckle. Julio then hits a superplex and Brute hits a moonsault. In addition, the original El Grande Americano hits Bravo with a diving headbutt for a near fall. El Grande Americano then hits a sliding dropkick on Julio. Los Americanos then acquires a mental plate. The original El Grande Americano then hits his opponent with three German suplexes. Babyface then hit a triple moonsault for another near fall. The Original El Grande Americano then hits a double clothesline on Rayo and Bravo. El Grande Americano then sends the original El Grande Americano to the timekeeper’s area. Back in the ring, El Grande Americano hits a masked Brute with a headbutt for the win.

Paige and Brie Bella are then seen warming up backstage. Later, Otis and Akira Tozawa are seen backstage, and Alpha Academy is joined by a man dressed as Whataburger. Interestingly, Maxine Dupri is nowhere to be seen.

When Joe Hendry gets in the ring and sings a song, he asks if Austin Theory has what it takes to beat Seth Rollins, and he wrote a song about it. Joe then performs a “Can I Fire Logan Paul?” concert in the middle of the ring.

It was then announced that Roman Reigns would compete for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Jacob Fatu in a Tribal Combat match at Clash, Italy.

We then see Kathy Kelly with Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso. Cassie asks them about the tribal battles. Jay says this is a sacred battle between two families and blood. Then Jay said he had been through it too and it could be crazy and brutal. L.A. Night shows up, but Jimmy says not now. Then Knight says he wants to know or something. He then asks what will happen to it. And he says the three of them opposed the vision because of what they did to them. And he says, you’re not better than them. Knight then says he’ll do what he has to do, even if it means getting his ass kicked. Afterwards, the Usos tell Knight not to do it now.

Michael Cole is then shown interviewing Ethan Page, with Ethan handing Cole an envelope with some questions written on it. Cole asks Ethan if he knows how long they’ve been doing it. Cole then asks the first question, complimenting Ethan’s appearance. He then asks if it’s unfair that Penta has to defend the title against him. Ethan then says that life isn’t fair. Ethan then wonders if he chose to be born this handsome and dangerous in the ring. And Ethan says that people are born to be champions, but some, like Penta, have to work hard. Ethan asks to ask the next question, and Cole asks why Ethan has to be like this. Cole then says Ethan has the looks, the charisma, and the athleticism. Cole then says that Ethan has what it takes and has the ego to sacrifice himself on Saturday. Ethan then says it’s not ego, it’s pure confidence. Ethan then says he thinks he’s the best wrestler in the company and he’ll prove it on Saturday. Ethan then says that he will be the first to put fear into Penta’s vocabulary, and that he will be the champion on Saturday.

Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night, accompanied by WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan. Brie Bella and Paige come down to the ring next.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: Page and WWE Hall of Famer Brie Bella (c) vs. Judgment Day (“Big Sexy” Raquel Rodriguez and “Prodigy” Roxanne Perez)

The match starts with Page and Roxanne Perez, with Page hitting a superkick. Page then sends Perez across the ring and kicks him in the midsection. Brie Bella joins the fight, but gets kicked. Raquel Rodriguez is now a legal woman. Bella then hits a Jesus kick. Rodriguez catches Vera in the air, but Vera is able to escape. Rodriguez then hits a shoulder tackle. Perez then gets the tag. Perez then applies a side headlock and slaps Vera in the face. Bella then returns the favor. Vera then drives a knee into Perez’s face. Vera then hits a Jesus Kick on Rodriguez. Rodriguez then hits a clothesline. Paige then sends her out of the ring.

The battle then spills outward. Perez then sends Page into the barricade and then back into the ring. Rodriguez then hits a series of back elbows. Perez joins in and hits a kick to the center. Liv Morgan then took a cheap shot behind the referee. Perez then sends Page to the canvas before tagging in Rodriguez. Rodriguez slams Page to the mat. Page then sends Rodriguez to the floor. Vera comes in and hits a clothesline on Perez. Vera hits a neckbreaker on Perez and sends Perez into Rodriguez. Vera then goes to the top rope and hits Perez with a kick to the face. Morgan then distracted the referee, allowing Rodriguez to hit a clothesline. Page and Bella then hit a double powerbomb on Rodriguez.

Perez then hits a running uppercut to Vera’s back. He then heads to the top rope and launches himself, but Bella ends up on his knees. Morgan then gets involved again and Jessica Carr catches her red-handed and tells her to leave. Perez then attempts to hit Vera with the title belt given to him by Rodriguez. Vera then ducks it and hits a rollup for the win.

After the match, Morgan attacks Bella and Paige from behind. Lyra Valkyrie and Bayley then come down to the ring. Then Valkyria stops Perez and Rodriguez. Morgan then goes for an Oblivion on Bayley, but Bayley blocks it and hits a belly-to-belly suplex. Valkyria then hits a dropkick over the ropes.

We then find Seth Rollins outside and LA Knight walks up to him. Seth asks Knight if he wants to go now. Knight says he knows what will happen because Seth caused it. And he said you might win the match, but you’d get stomped and eliminated. And I don’t like Seth, tonight I say the enemy of my enemy is not my friend. Then he says it’s great that you’re going out there. Knight then tells Seth that if he wants help, he won’t help him. Knight then leaves.

Oba Femi is then seen walking around the backstage area and his open challenge begins next.

El Grande Americano, Rayo Americano, and Bravo Americano then appear and talk about their victory. Grande says they’ve taken the first steps, but in a few weeks we’ll find out who the real and one Grande Americano is.

Penta then cuts a promo and says he fights for himself but this title is for the people. And Penta says all the wars and sacrifices brought him here. Penta tells Paige to get ready for Saturday night.

Oba Femi then descends into the ring for his next match that night. Brock Lesnar then attacks Oba during a crab pose and he hits Oba with two F5s. Brock then gets Oba back on his feet and does another F5. Block then attacks Oba with F5 one more time. Brock then leaves the ring and walks down the aisle. Afterward, Brock Lesnar said on his way out, “I don’t do anything nasty.”

Byron Saxton then talks about what happened. Raquel Rodriguez then leaves with Roxanne Perez and Liv Morgan. She has a few words to say to Bailey and Lyla. Roxanne then says that this is the last time Lyla and Bailey are involved in their business. And she says it’s only luck that will get Bree and Paige this far. Byron then asks how bad Judgment Day’s interference was. Liv then took the mic and said she was still the champion. And she said that Raquel and Roxanne are more attractive and more relatable than Paige and Bree. And she said that while Finn may have won, JD has a family.

Then I met Adam Pearce and said I had my retirement papers and wanted to talk to Paul Heyman about it. Pierce then entered the office and saw Paul standing there. Paul then says he heard Pierce was looking for him. Pearce said he has since submitted his resignation. Paul then says that Brock has retired. Paul then handed Pearce a contract for the crash in Italy with Brock’s name on it. Paul then says that if Oba’s name is included, it will be the biggest rematch in history.

Then I met Kathy Kelly. She is a member of the Street Profits. Cassie asks them about Saturday’s game. Dawkins said the vision is tough, but he will be ready. Ford then says they’re not new to this. And he says they have a vision, too. He then said they would exit as tag team champions. Dawkins then said Seth’s name and met him. Ford then says that he has no intention of helping and that Dawkins can do whatever he wants. Dawkins then says they don’t need to be friends and that he doesn’t speak for Ford. Seth then says he knows he has no allies and is out on his own. Seth then thanks Dawkins for what he said and says he apologizes for what happened last week. Seth said he had to get ready for the match.

Seth Rollins then makes his way down to the ring for the main event of the night, followed by Austin Theory with Logan Paul.

Single match: “The Visionary” Seth “Freakin’” Rollins vs. The Vision WWE World Tag Team Champion Austin Theory

The match begins with Seth Rollins defeating both Austin Theory and Logan Paul with a suicide dive. Rollins then takes Theory to an outside match. Rollins gets back in the ring and goes for the Stomp, but Theory rolls out. Rollins then sends Theory over the top rope to the floor. Rollins then goes for a Stomp outside the ring, but Theory dodges him out of harm’s way. The fight then spills out into the open again. Back in the ring, Rollins hits a buckle bomb in the corner. Rollins slams Theory away. Rollins then sends Theory out of the ring again. Theory then slams Rollins’ ankle into the post. Theory is now attacking Rollins hard. Michael Cole then said he thought Rollins might have broken his ankle.

Back in the ring, Theory slams a shoulder into the middle of Rollins. Paul then trips Rollins, allowing Theory to send Rollins into the timekeeper area. Theory then hits a dropkick on Rollins for a near fall. Rollins then backs Theory into the corner. Theory then delivers a knockout blow to Rollins, sending him into a near fall. Theory then goes for Rollins’ ankle. Rollins then hits the Hawk Arrow. Rollins then slams Theory into the corner. Rollins then hits one clothesline after another. Rollins then hits a sitdown powerbomb on Theory for a near fall. Rollins then goes for a Pedigree, but Theory hits him with a back elbow and follows up with a half club submission. Theory then hits a superkick on Rollins. Theory then goes for the Stomp, but Rollins counters with a clothesline.

Rollins then goes to the top rope, but Paul trips him into the back of the referee. Theory then hits a stomp for a near fall. Theory is now attacking Rollins hard. Paul then hands Theory a set of brass knuckles. Rollins then hits a superkick. The referee is then distracted and Rollins knocks Paul off the apron. Rollins then hits a Pedigree on Theory for the win.

Singles Match Winner “The Visionary” Seth “Freakin” Rollins!

After the match, Logan Paul attacks Rollins and punches him. Angelo Dawkins gets in the ring and punches Paul. Theory then attacks Dawkins from behind. Paul then kicks Dawkins and Theory pins him down. Montez Ford then comes out and sends Theory to the apron and he punches him to the floor. Ford then escapes a belly-to-back suplex and hits an enzuigiri to send Paul to the floor. Ford then hits a flip dive over the ring post onto Theory and Paul. Ford tells Dawkins to be careful when it comes to Seth.

Bron Breaker then appears in the ring and as Ford pushes Dawkins away, Bron Breaker attacks Ford with a spear. Bron then hits a double knee gut buster on Dawkins. Rollins then punches Bron, Paul grabs Seth’s ankle and Bron hits a spear. They then send Seth to the floor and Bron grabs the ring steps. Adam Pearce tells him to come down the stairs. They then take steps from Bronn. Bron then hits a double leg takedown on Seth over the ring steps. Pearce and officials then separate the pair, and as the show draws to a close, Vision stands tall.
