The show begins with commentary that welcomes us and they run through the night’s card. Next, we get a video package recapping last weekend’s AEW Full Gear PPV.
A video of the AEW Continental Classic then plays and Kyle Fletcher comes down to the ring for the first match of the night. Don Callis then steps down to the ring, followed by Kazuchika Okada.
Continental Classic Gold League Match: Don Callis Family’s “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher vs. Don Callis Family’s AEW Unified Champion “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada
The match begins in the center of the ring, with both men shaking hands and trying to kick each other, but it is blocked. Both then reverse each other. The two then shake hands. Fletcher then goes for an armbar, but Okada rolls out of it and reverses into an armbar of his own. Fletcher then pulls himself out of it. The two men then exchange shoulder tackles, and Fletcher takes Okada down with a shoulder tackle. Fletcher then hits a body slam and goes for the cover, but Okada kicks out. Fletcher then hits a chop to the chest, but Okada lands a kick and a right hand. Okada then hits a series of forearms. He runs to the ropes again, but Fletcher hits an elbow to the face. Fletcher then goes for a cover, but Okada kicks out.
Fletcher then climbs to the top rope, but Okada pushes the referee onto the ropes, causing Fletcher to trip. Okada then hits Fletcher with a dropkick and Fletcher falls out of the ring. Okada then hits a body slam. He then climbs to the top rope, but Fletcher pushes the referee onto the ropes and Okada trips. Fletcher then climbs the top rope and hits a superplex. Fletcher then hits a right hand as both men get to their feet. Fletcher then goes to the ropes and hits a big boot to the face. Fletcher then hits a back suplex. He then goes for a cover, but Okada kicks out. Fletcher then grabs Okada, but Okada picks him up and slams him to the mat. Okada then climbs to the top rope, but Fletcher gets up and slams Okada with a right hand. Fletcher then goes for a suplex, but Okada hits a series of right hands and Fletcher falls to the mat. Fletcher then hits an elbow drop. Okada then goes for a right, but Fletcher hits a suplex.
Fletcher then charges towards Okada, but Okada falls out of bounds. Fletcher stands on the ring apron, but Okada trips Fletcher and Fletcher falls face-first onto the ring apron. Okada then DDTs Fletcher out of the box. Okada then brings Fletcher back into the ring and hits a brainbuster. He then goes for the cover, but Fletcher kicks out. Okada then lands a right hand, but Fletcher responds with a few right hands of his own. Okada then goes to the ropes, but Fletcher hits a superkick. Okada then stands up and hits a dropkick. Okada then hits a Tombstone Piledriver. He then goes for the Rainmaker, but Fletcher hits the Michinoku Driver.
Both men then hit a flurry of elbows to the face and Okada hits a clothesline. Okada lifts Fletcher up, but Fletcher gets back up and sends Okada flying into the second turnbuckle. Fletcher then hits a powerbomb. He then goes for a cover, but Okada kicks out. Fletcher then goes for a brainbuster, but Okada gets to his feet. Then Okada puts a pitchfork in his eye. He then grabs Fletcher, but Fletcher rounds him up for the win.

After the match, Don Callis enters the ring, hugs Fletcher, and checks on Okada. He then tells them both to get up. Fletcher then held out his hand, and the two shook hands as Caris raised her arm in the air.

Then we head to the back where Lexi Nair knocks on Kenny Omega’s door. Omega opens the door and tells Nair that he has not been a good employee or friend, and that he was deceived by Don Callis. Omega says he would be a hypocrite if he didn’t take that into account and think long and hard about where he and the Young Bucks stand. Omega then says if the fans accept everything he’s done, who’s to say the Bucks don’t have a second chance? Then he closed the door and soon the Young Bucks came out.
We then cut back to Mark Brisco cutting a promo after winning the TNT title.
The Sisters of Sin then make their way down to the ring for their next match of the night, followed by the Babes of Wrath.
