Clark Connors has officially joined AEW. The New Japan Pro Wrestling star confirmed his signing after making a surprise appearance during the January 31, 2026 episode of Collision.
Details of his contract were revealed on February 2nd’s Wrestling Observer Live, where Brian Alvarez commented: “I’d also like to highlight the debut of Clark Connors, who is now officially on board with AEW.”
Connors, recognized for his role in New Japan Pro Wrestling’s War Dogs faction, last appeared in an AEW ring during the “Forbidden Door 2025” event, where he challenged for the Trio World Championship.
In that match, he delivered an intense performance against Darby Allin but ultimately lost by submission to the Scorpion Death Lock. Following the match, an intense angle unfolded: Connors wasn’t by himself.
As Allin proclaimed himself the victor over the Death Rider and vowed to dominate AEW in 2026, he was unexpectedly attacked by Gabe Kidd at ringside. Connors joined Kidd in the assault, slamming Allin into the steel steps. The scene concluded with Allin trapped under the stairs while medical personnel rushed to assist, as Kidd issued a warning.
Connors teaming up with Kidd hints at a new War Dogs invasion in AEW—and with his official signing, this may just be the start of their campaign.
