Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime performance was a highlight for many, though it sparked controversy for figures like Rush Brown and Donald Trump.

A former wrestler from ROH and NWA, Brown has raised eyebrows with his assertion that the show could “turn kids into homosexuals.” In a Facebook post, he expressed alarm over a brief moment when two male dancers performed closely together, leading him to a state of agitation.

“Don’t be surprised if your sons start bullying other boys soon. Exposure to content like this can deeply influence them; TV impacts kids more than we realize.”

Brown argued that his issue isn’t with Bad Bunny’s musicality, background, or language, but rather with the perceived messages in his art.

“My concern isn’t rooted in where Bad Bunny originates or the language he uses; it revolves around the homosexual themes present in his music and videos that are being disseminated worldwide.”

“Television is corrupting our children.”

Known for his tenure in ROH in the late 2000s and as part of the NWA tag team champions, the Skull Crushers, Brown hasn’t stepped into the ring since 2022. However, this recent controversy has once again thrust him into the spotlight, albeit not for positive reasons. Bad Bunny and WWE have yet to comment on his claims, but there’s no sign of Brown backing down.
