The Countdown to WWE Elimination Chamber pre-show begins with Joe Tessitore welcoming us with a view of Chicago.

Then we get the WWE Elimination Chamber video package.

Tessitore then introduces Big E and Wade Barrett as co-hosts during the pre-show panel, introducing the matches and some of the storylines that come from each match. The panel will also discuss the disciplines of both men’s and women’s Elimination Chamber matches.

Jackie Redmond then talks about CM Punk and why he wants to face Finn Balor ahead of Roman Reigns’ match at WrestleMania 42. Byron Saxton then talks about his desire to return to AJ Lee and the pressure he put on himself. Next, Kathy Kelly talks about the Women’s Elimination Chamber Match. Peter Rosenberg then talks about the men’s Elimination Chamber match.

The panel then discusses the situation between Drew McIntyre, Cody Rhodes, and Jacob Fatu and McIntyre’s influence on the men’s Elimination Chamber match.

We then see a clip from What’s Your Story with Stephanie McMahon.

Triple H says he thought it was a cool concept, but regretted it when he saw the structure. Triple H then stated that he felt this match was special and that he launched a new franchise with this match. And Triple H says this match has an incredible legacy. Triple H then states that he set the template for what comes with it. Triple H then says he can’t prepare for this match. Triple H said you are always preparing and are well on your way to WrestleMania.

Triple H then says the chain is relentless. Triple H then says the bars are unforgiving. Triple H then says Pod has no mercy. Triple H then says he wants you to win the match. Peter then asks who has the most to prove in the women’s game. Triple H also says that everyone feels the need to prove things to others and themselves. And Triple H says they want to keep working towards the next thing, that’s what makes them great. Triple H then says that Tiffany wants to prove that she’s not a fluke. Triple H then says Raquel and Kiana are trying to prove their place.

The panel then discusses how last night’s loss in the Women’s Tag Team Championship match could affect Rhea Ripley at Women’s Elimination Chamber. The panel also talks about Tiffany and Kairi’s match last night when Asuka decided not to wrestle.

Next, Kathy Kelly interviews Alexa Bliss. Cassie asks Alexa what the plan is. Alexa hasn’t won in a long time, but says the strategy is the same. AJ says Becky chose her. AJ then says that she came after her husband and that maybe she thought this would get her out of retirement money. AJ then says he doesn’t know if he could have played against anyone else. AJ then says that Becky is her Everest. Cole then asks about it getting personal. AJ said she could have competed at Wrestlepalooza and gone home, but instead she saw Becky bullying people. AJ then says this has become a beautiful place and we have to stop people like Becky. AJ says she wants to punch him in the face and Cole asks what Chicago means to her. AJ then mentioned achieving Cinderella’s homecoming in Chicago, where she also won her first title. Cole then asks what the title means to her. AJ says there was a moment when he felt like he had built a house but never lived in it. And AJ says he wants to prove he’s still championship material.

We then watch Corey Graves interview Finn Balor. Cory asks Finn about the first night he defeated Roman Reigns on Raw and won the Universal title at SummerSlam. Cory asks Finn what he thinks about people saying that was their peak. Finn says he’s not doing it for the critics. And Finn says it will shine no matter where you place it on the card. Cory then asks what Finn means when he says he feels like an afterthought. Finn says he may be partially to blame because of his upbringing. Then Finn said there was grease on the squeaky wheel. Finn then says it’s time to get some grease.

Cory then asks about the game in Belfast and asks how he thinks tonight is the night. Finn says it was a punk night in Belfast, but it could have been his. And Finn says he proved he could go toe-to-toe with some of the best players in the world when the opportunity presented itself. Cory then asks where Finn stands on Punk. WWE Elimination Chamber opens with a welcome from Michael Cole and various shots of the host city. According to Cole, this will be the first time in 32 years that the United Center will host a WWE television event. Cole then welcomes fans to Chicago, the hometown of World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk. We then get a video package featuring CM Punk.

Cole then lists attendance as a sold-out crowd of 19,346. Cole then narrates an arrival shot of Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Finn Balor, Intercontinental Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, and World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk walking hand in hand with his wife, AJ Lee.

Ring announcer Mark Nash then introduces the Women’s Elimination Chamber match. Alexa Bliss comes down to the ring first, followed by Asuka, Raquel Rodriguez, and Rhea Ripley. Starting the first game of the night will be Kiana James and Tiffany Stratton.

Women’s Elimination Chamber Match: Tiffany Stratton vs. “The Eradicator” Rhea Ripley vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Kabuki Warriors “Tomorrow’s Empress” Asuka vs. Kiana James vs. The Judgment Day’s Raquel Rodriguez

The match starts with Kiana and Tiffany circling each other before locking up. Tiffany then squeezes his arm. Kiana then applies a waistlock and Tiffany applies a side headlock. Tiffany then hits a springboard side headlock takedown. Tiffany then does handsprings to Kiana and says it’s her time. Kiana then wants a test of strength and Kiana kicks Tiffany instead, sending Tiffany into the turnbuckle. Kiana then hits a shoulder in the corner. Kiana then slams a running boot into her head for a near fall. Tiffany then hits a drop toe hold and sends Kiana into the ropes. Tiffany then tries a running hip attack to the back and a dropkick for a near fall. Kiana then hits a standing moonsault for a near fall.

Kiana then hits a knee kick and sends Tiffany into the turnbuckle a few times. Kiana then hits an elbow to the back of the neck and a kick to the midsection. Kiana then kicks Tiffany out of the ring. Tiffany then avoids being sent to chains. Tiffany then blocks a suplex attempt and Tiffany suplexes Kiana to the platform. Tiffany then misses a handspring back elbow and hits the pod when Kiana moves. Then Raquel bursts into laughter. Asuka is next to participate in the match. Kiana then stabs Asuka inside the pod with her spear. Kiana then sends Tiffany into the ring. Asuka then kicks Kiana and Asuka sends Kiana’s head into the pod. Asuka then kicks Tiffany, sending her into the pod multiple times. Asuka hits a kick to Kiana, a bulldog to Tiffany, and a clothesline to Kiana. Asuka then heads into the room and strangles both women.

Asuka then goes up top and hits a double missile dropkick, giving Kiana and Tiffany a nearfall. Asuka hits Tiffany and Kiana with kicks. Tiffany then blocks a kick and avoids several. Tiffany then hits a forearm and sends Kiana into the turnbuckle. Tiffany then hits Asuka and Kiana with a handspring back elbow. Asuka then hits a pop-up knee for a near fall. The next contestant in the match is Alexa Bliss. Alexa then stares at Asuka and dropkicks her and Kiana. Alexa then hits Asuka with a headscissors takedown. Alexa then hits a tornado DDT on Kiana. Tiffany then waved at Alexa and Alexa was caught with a crossbody.

Tiffany then hits a slam, but Alexa stops her as Tiffany goes for the most beautiful moonsault ever. Asuka then hits a dropkick on Tiffany in the Tree of Wee, followed by a dropkick on Alexa as well. Alexa moves and Kiana drives a knee into Asuka. Alexa then nearly falls over on Kiana. Kiana then hits a knee on Tiffany. Kiana then sends Tiffany into the room and Kiana fires a catapult at the pod. The next contestant in the match is Rhea Ripley. Rhea then hits a dropkick on Kiana and she headbutts Alexa. Rhea then hits a short arm clothesline on Asuka. Then Rhea hits Asuka with a backheel kick and a face plant. Rhea headbutts Tiffany and Tiffany hits a Razor’s Edge on Asuka.

Rhea then tries a tornado DDT on Alexa but Rhea blocks it and Rhea goes for a suplex. Alexa then runs away and she prepares for Sister Abigail, but Leah escapes. Rhea then goes for Riptide, but Alexa ends up on the platform. Rhea then hits a kick and Rhea attempts a Riptide on the platform but Alexa reaches the chamber. Kiana then hits Rhea with her shoulder into the chamber. Kiana then hits a dropkick on Asuka. Kiana then hits a forearm to Tiffany and Rhea hits a forearm to Asuka. Alexa then hits everyone else with Twisted Bliss. Kiana then sends Alexa into the chamber and into the ring. Kiana then superkicks Alexa, and Kiana aims for Sister Abigail and is captured by Alexa, but it takes too long and Asuka casts a fog on Alexa. Kiana then got a 3 count and Alexa Bliss was eliminated.

The final contestant of the match is Raquel Rodriguez. Raquel blocks Tiffany’s Lana and she swings Tiffany into the room. Raquel then hits a clothesline on Kiana and Raquel hits an overbomb hotshot on Rhea. Tiffany, Kiana, and Asuka then punch Raquel, but Raquel pushes them away. Rhea then kicks Raquel out of the ring, but Raquel throws Rhea into the chamber a few times. Raquel then sends Asuka into the pod. Raquel then throws Kiana away. Rhea then hits a forearm and goes for a rana off the turnbuckle, but Raquel catches it and Raquel uses the chamber to hit a slingshot powerbomb.

Asuka then sends Raquel into the chamber and hits her with a series of attacks. Raquel also hits a fallaway slam on Asuka. Kiana and Raquel then fight inside the pod. Raquel then hits the Oklahoma Stampede through the pod. Raquel then sends Kiana into the ring. Asuka then misses a round kick, Raquel hits a Tejana Bomb on Kiana, Raquel pins Asuka and Kiana, and Kiana James and Asuka are eliminated. Raquel then speaks to Tiffany, and the two exchange arms. Raquel then hits a kick on Rhea, who kicks back. Tiffany tries to wake Raquel up, but Raquel hits a series of elbows. Raquel then hits a spinning powerslam on Tiffany for a near fall.

Leah then grabs Raquel and pulls her into the room. Raquel then sends Leah into her room. Rachel then places Leah inside the room, holding her feet in the Tree of Woe. Tiffany then climbs into the room and Raquel kicks Leah. Raquel then catches Tiffany and Tiffany hits Lana in the ring. Raquel then hits a kick on Tiffany and she sends Tiffany into the turnbuckle. Raquel then hits an elbow in the corner. Raquel then hits a fallaway slam on Tiffany. Raquel then hits a Vader Bomb Elbow Drop. Raquel then hits a splash on Tiffany and she puts Tiffany on the turnbuckle. Rhea then goes to the top of the pod and hits Raquel with a cannonball. Tiffany then stayed on the turnbuckle and performed a moonsault on Raquel to get a three count and Raquel Rodriguez was eliminated.

Tiffany then avoids a boot and Tiffany hits a knee. Rea then hits a facebuster and a clothesline. Rhea then goes for the Razor’s Edge, but Tiffany escapes and hits a cartwheel Alabama slam for a near fall. Tiffany then goes up top but misses a Swanton. Leah then hits a kick and she shoulders Tiffany and plants Tiffany in the face for a near fall. Rhea then tries Riptide, but Tiffany escapes. Rhea then misses her shoulder and hits the ring post. Tiffany then goes up top and hits a Swanton for a nearfall. Tiffany then hits a slam and comes out on top with the most beautiful moonsault of all time. Rhea then shoved Tiffany into the pod and Rhea hit Riptide for the win.

The match starts with a lockup between both fighters, with Becky backing AJ into the corner for a break. They then lock up again and Becky applies a side headlock and hits a shoulder tackle. Becky then taunts AJ by hanging on the ropes. Becky then applies a waistlock and AJ hits a standing switch. Becky then hits a standing switch and transitions into a side headlock. AJ then hits a leg sweep and covers for a near fall. AJ then gets a rollup for a nearfall. Becky then goes for a disarm harm, but AJ hits a leg sweep. Becky then misses a clothesline and AJ gets a takedown. AJ then applies a hammerlock and she bridges. Becky then escapes and applies a hammerlock.

AJ then sends Becky through the ropes to the floor and Becky attacks the ringside barrier. AJ then skips to the ring and smiles. Becky then returns to the ring, hides behind the referee and kicks AJ. AJ then tries to levitate, but Becky catches him with her shoulder. AJ then hits a takedown and a dropkick. Becky then grabs the ropes on an O’Connor roll attempt. Becky then hits a leg lariat and punches AJ over and over again. Becky then sends AJ into the turnbuckles and she kicks AJ into the corner. Becky then hits a short arm clothesline for a near fall. Becky then strangles AJ with the ropes. Becky then kicks AJ in the back. Becky then hits a forearm in the corner and kicks AJ. Becky then hits an Exploder for a near fall. Becky then confronts Pi and AJ.

Becky then hits a forearm and AJ fights back. Both women then go back and forth. Becky then hits a midsection kick and a back heel kick. AJ then hits a bulldog. AJ then hits a series of back elbows and Becky sends AJ into the turnbuckle, but AJ hits a boot and a tornado DDT. AJ then hits a Shining Wizard off the turnbuckle for a nearfall. Becky then goes for Urange, but AJ counters with Victorol for a near fall. Becky then gets a rollup. Furthermore, Becky hits a GTR and gets a near fall. Becky then slams AJ’s head into the mat. The winner is the new WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion, AJ Lee!

After the match, AJ Lee celebrated her victory by standing on the middle rope, holding up the title as pyro went off and Becky Lynch looked disappointed.

Then we go to the back and see a wooden box there. Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis also appear, and R-Truth joins them with Papa John’s pizza. Then the truth leaves.

Finn Balor then makes his way to the ring for his next match on PLE, followed by CM Punk.

The match starts with both men locking up and Punk applies a wristlock. Finn then makes a comeback. Punk then applies a hammerlock and Finn tries to escape. Finn then makes a comeback. Punk then applies a full nelson. Finn then escapes and reverses the hold. Punk then gets a rollup for a near fall. Punk then applies a side headlock. Finn then hits a back elbow for a near fall. Finn then hits a side headlock takedown. Finn gets another takedown with a side headlock and Punk gets a few near falls. Punk then hits a leg lariat.

Punk then hits a backbreaker and a snapmare. Punk then hits a chop to the back, followed by a kick and a knee drop. Finn then nearly collapses. Punk then hits a forearm to the waist. Punk goes for a suplex but Finn blocks him and gets to his feet. Finn then punches him and Punk punches back and chops Finn. Finn and Punk then exchange punches. Finn then hits a boot on Punk. Finn then stretches Punk to the ropes and punches him in the middle. Finn then hits a kick to the center. Finn then hits some more punches and hits a shoulder in the corner. And Finn hits a chop. Finn then hits an Irish whip and a chop into the corner. Punk then hits an Irish whip and a knee kick to the corner. Punk then goes for a bulldog, but Finn escapes and hits a forearm to the back and an abdominal stretch. Punk then hits a hip toss and escapes. Punk then hits a double leg takedown and Finn kicks him away. They then both go for clotheslines at the same time and they both fall.

Finn then punches him and Punk punches him back. Both men then go back and forth. Finn then hits a kick and Punk hits a punch. Punk then hits a back elbow and a clothesline. Punk then hit a knee in the corner and collided with Bulldog. Finn then escapes from the GTS, but Punk sends Finn to the floor. Punk then hits a suicide dive and Finn lands on the announce desk. Punk then goes up top and hits a clothesline for a near fall. Punk signals that it’s over and hoists Finn onto his shoulders. Finn then escapes and hits the GTR for a near fall. Finn then hits some punches and kicks and Punk drops Finn into the turnbuckle. Punk then hits an Irish whip and Finn tries to float, but Punk catches him and Finn avoids a GTS and rolls up for a near fall.

Punk then hits a swinging neckbreaker for a nearfall. Punk then hits a leg sweep and Finn kicks Punk away. Finn then goes for a suplex, but Punk blocks it. Punk then hits a forearm.
