The show begins with a video package recapping last weekend’s AEW Revolution PPV.

Then Will Ospreay’s music hits, the commentator welcomes us, and when he comes down to the ring for the first match of the night, his opponent is already in the ring.

Single match: “Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay vs. Swirl’s “Vanilla Baby” Blake Christian

The match begins with Blake Christian catching his breath. Christian then gets the upper hand briefly with a splash to the floor. Will Ospreay then returns and beats Christian on the outside. Gabe Kidd was then seen waiting in the parking lot as a car approached. Darby Allyn then jumps out and attacks Kid.

And Swerve says that the only true winners in war are those with power. Swerve then said that while it was fun to beat Brody in his home state of California, he wasn’t satisfied because AEW’s power lies elsewhere. Swerve then says that he has dealt with power all his life. Swerve then says that, truth be told, if the Young Bucks hadn’t intervened in their Dynasty match last year, he would have been a two-time champion by now.
