WWE WrestleMania 41 Kickoff Press Show Results (4/18/25): Live Match Updates and Highlights
The show will be held by Michael Cole, where we welcomed us, and then the city of Las Vegas and the grounds of WrestleMania 41 and the site for SmackDown tonight. Next, we see the arrival of “Main Event” Jayuso, world heavyweight champion “Ring General” guncer, women’s world champion Aiyo Sky, Bianca Bel Air, Realiply and WWE Intercontinental champion Bron Breakker.

Cole then welcomes us to the kickoff show, and he introduces Pat McCuffy and tells him to prepare for the maximum three days. Cole then asks fans if they are ready for Smackdown, NXT Stand & Deliver, The Hall of Fame, WrestleMania 41 and fans’ chant. McAfee then talks about how the WrestleMania 41 stage is set and how high the stage is. Cole then talks about WrestleMania being the setting for the Battle of Sin City Street, and introduces him by Drew McIntyre and McIntyre. Fans then sing McIntyre. McIntyre says people saw the truth and now they have got it. McCuffy then asks why fans suddenly loved McIntyre and why fans started chanting McIntyre again. McIntyre then asks fans if they saw his PSA and he thanked him for listening to him. McIntyre talks about how fans run and watch the Undertaker, as they don’t listen to Damien’s priest.
McIntyre points out the front row fans wearing Michael Cole’s shirts. Cole then asks McIntyre about WrestleMania last year and how the priest was cashed out to him, and if he would eventually revenge on the priest. McIntyre talks about John Cena’s heel turn, how he saw it a mile away, and how no one listened to him. McIntyre then talks about how the priest needs him and how the priest suddenly appears and is fighting with McIntyre. The producer then leaves and stops McIntyre and the priest. Cole says he will see them face each other at the Battle of Sin City Street and talks about the Hall of Fame ceremony.
Cole then introduces Bron Breakker, who escapes. Cole then tells Blakeker his WrestleMania debut, and how it makes him feel to his family’s pedigree. Blakeker says it’s really cool as his dad and uncle wrestled at WrestleMania. Cole then talks about how Blakeker defends history to his title in a deadly four-way match, and Cole asks Blakeker about enemies like Penta. Blakeker says there is no fear of saving Penta from him. Cole then mentions Finballer and Breakker, then talks about the first ever Universal Champion. Breakker says he will hit a super spear on Bálor. Cole then asks about Dominique Mysterio, and Breakker says Mysterio should just run away. McAfee then talks about the odds of the fatal four-way match, while Blakeker talks about Steiner’s match and how he has a 50% chance he gets from the gate. Breakker also talks about a 129.2% chance of winning in total, considering all participants.
The new day then heads towards a series of boos from the fans, and they chant, sucking a new day. Xavier Woods then thanked God on the new day, and says that Kofi Kingston doesn’t care how they are not invited. Xavier Woods says they wonder how they are future WWE Hall of Fame and how they should be introduced into this year’s Hall of Fame, and how the tag titles will reign over natural disasters, Rick Flair and John Cena’s natural disasters. Kofi Kingston says defeating the War Raiders at WrestleMania will become a 13-time champion. Xavier Woods can only say that when he wins at WrestleMania, fans will thank God on a new day. Kingston and Woods then thank God for a new day several times, but their microphones continue to be cut off and fans tighten their f***.
Cole then talks about how chasing off WrestleMania Sunday will be a triple threat match for the women’s world title and gets a video package where the triple threat match came about. Cole then introduces Rhea Ripley, and Ripley introduces her exit. The crowd chants Mami. Cole then talks about how Ripley was part of the Pat McAfee Show and was part of WrestleMania since 2020. Cole asks Ripley how important it is to be a kickoff for WrestleMania Sunday. Ripley then says she will become the new women’s world champion, and Cole asks if the Triple’s threat regulations will help her win the title, and Ripley says it will. McAfee then asks Ripley if she has a different mindset for WrestleMania as a challenger, and Ripley says she has a different mindset and comes for blood. Cole then introduces Bianca Bel Air, who makes her exit. Cole says Bel Air made history at WrestleMania in the past, and how she feels about being underdog in triple threat matches. Bella then says he’s happy that the match is a triple threat and talks about Ripley using her as a scapegoat as he can’t beat Iyo Sky. Bel Air then says he’ll leave WrestleMania as the women’s world champion.
Cole then introduces Iyo Sky, who leaves in her midst. Cole then asks Sky what he thinks afterwards. Sky says she will prove who she is and that is the women’s world champion. Cole then asks McAfee to win with a triple threat, who says that the WWE universe will win. McAfee says this is the greatest sport on the planet and how to gain more fans after WrestleMania.
Cole then talks about how the world heavyweight title match kicks off Wrestle Mania on Saturday and whether Jey Uso has a chance. Cole then introduces Gunther, who goes his way. Cole then talks about how Gunther’s attitude has changed from Jay Uso, and Gunther says nothing has changed. Gunther says it changed because Jay Lie made Jimmy Lie instead of him. Gunther says he’s not afraid of Jay Lies. Jay Uso then goes out through the fans and Cole introduces him. Jey Uso and Gunther have since met up, saying that Jey Uso has been waiting for the whole week tomorrow night, but there’s no need to wait and you can start right now. Gunther then leaves and Jay Uso asks Las Vegas if he is ready for WrestleMania and the new World Heavyweight Champion. The crowd then cheers on, and Jay Uso says Yett. Michael Cole then reminds fans of the conversation locations for all the events tonight and this weekend, but Jay Uso leaves the crowd and ends the show.
