Dustin Rhodes excludes WWE Returns, AEW is where he is respected

1 Min Read

Dustin Rhodes repeatedly concluded his career with AEW, excluding his return to WWE. After signing a multi-year extension with AEW in December 2024, Dustin reiterated his plans to complete him as a “all elite” talent. Dustin made it clear once more when fans called on Rhodes to return to WWE to end his career. Not only that, Rhodes argued that AEW was the only place where it was respected.

Dustin is currently half of the ROH Tag Team Champion along with Sammy Guevara and also holds the ROH Sixman Tag Team title with Von Erichs. Back further, Dustin has worked with some of the best in AEW, including MJF and his brother Cody, and is also working as an ally.

Dustin did not mention WWE in his post, but he made his comments swing in the treatment many received at Sports Entertainment’s Juggernaut. Now fans look forward to seeing Rhodes as a more elite talent, but never as a WWE superstar.
