The May 4 episode of WWE LFG ended with a broken heartbreak on the roster, including Anthony Luke, one of four men cut from the competition. But if you think exclusion rattles him, think again. He came out shaking with confidence.
Shortly after the show ended, Luke hit Twitter with a pointy message: “In a year, it’s already been compared to goats 🫡” The tweet was a direct response to Booker T’s critique during the show, accusing the Hall of Fame of eliminating Luke and trying to become rock. “Everyone who has tried it before has failed.” Booker aired and revealed that he hadn’t seen Luke’s charisma translated into long-term success.
But for Anthony, the comparison was fuel. The pros of the year have not set back, clearly seeing feedback as a verification that he has already turned his head. Whether the coach agrees or not.
His response added a new layer to the removals that saw Troy Yearwood, Elijah Hollyfield and Drake Moray sent packing. Combined with previous cuts from the women’s side, Final 8 is currently trapped as the show is built towards the finale at Madison Square Garden.
